Jessie Deschênes - Singer

Jessie Deschênes is a singer from Coaticook. From a very young age, she immediately showed a marked interest in the performing arts. She could spend her days singing, dancing and acting.

Between the improvement, the courses, her participation in several competitions, several shows and others, not a day went by without her singing.

It is in 2015 that she will begin studies in professional technique of music and song in popular singing at Cégep Marie-Victorin. During her studies, she will have known how to stand out, and this, on several occasions.

In 2018 it will be with her interpretation of the leading role of Carmen in the musical Le Chant de Ste-Carmen de la Main by Michel Tremblay, René Richard Cyr and Daniel Bélanger. The show is adapted and directed by Nathalie Deschamps and Sylvain Cossette on music. She will then be rewarded by winning the International Engagement scholarship which will be awarded to her after a trip and a musical exchange between Quebec and Cameroon.

In 2019, she continued to demonstrate her talent with the role of Joanne in the musical Company by Stephen Sondheim and George Furth.
